The first major gallery exposing oil techniques in a selection by a Starbucks-Created Art Gala. Shown in the heart of Chelsea at the Metropolitan Pavilion, both "9 Heads" and "28th's Rain" were privately bought as well as established a private clientele as a result of its viewing.
"Growing up as an only child with just my mother, I was constantly reminded that it was okay to daydream and pretend to be a superstar. I was inspired by New York from old classic films and pop culture (mainly icons that I found inspirational in 9 Heads) which is why it was so easy for me to decide to move to NYC. I've always been drawn to the push/pull of glamorizing both NY and pop culture even though there are times where it's quite disgusting and dirty."
